Town: Castelnau-Le-Lèz

The town of Castelnau-le-Lez has undertaken a complete renovation of its sports area, with the aim of modernising its infrastructure. Among the facilities planned is the replacement of an old multi-use games area, which has become obsolete. The town wanted to offer an attractive venue for young people, but also to make it a meeting place, where sport fosters exchanges and conviviality.

Proludic was the obvious choice for its ACTI’FUN range, which stands out by offering a play-based version of outdoor sport. Located in the heart of a completely renovated sports area, this new multi-use games area stands out with its innovative features. Equipped with a wide range of play and sports accessories, it can be used to diversify the activities on offer and increase the number of users in the sports area, while maximising the use of space. The area is now used by young people of all ages, from children to teenagers, providing a setting in which they can play sport together and socialise.

Innovative equipment for a complete sporting experience
This multi-use games area offers more than just a basic infrastructure for ball sports such as football, basketball and handball. Proludic has designed a modular space that maximises the pleasure of practising sport:

  • A tennis/ball skills training panel and a ball-throwing skill game, located outside the area, to help youngsters improve their ball control by foot or by hand, while having fun at the same time.
  • Vertical jump activities: these gauges enable users to assess and improve their jumping ability, an asset for basketball or handball fans.
  • Shooting targets on the goal mesh panels: attached to the goal mesh panels, they offer the opportunity to work on the accuracy of shots, an option particularly appreciated by football fans.
  • Changing room coat hanger: this practical accessory allows players to store their belongings.

A friendly space accessible to all
Whether users are occasional athletes, regular practitioners or people with disabilities, there is something for everyone in this inclusive space. By offering a modular structure with a wide range of accessories, Proludic has been able to meet the town’s specific needs while creating a space that is suitable for all kinds of activities.
