To provide children with a modernized playground that is better suited to the needs of families, the City of Paris has replaced the old play area in the Parc Suzanne Lenglen with a more ambitious development. As part of its play and sports development policy, the 15th arrondissement council wanted to optimize the space’s capacity, while guaranteeing maximum accessibility for all children, whatever their age or ability.
The Parc Suzanne Lenglen, located in a residential area and regularly used by schools for sports activities, represented an ideal site for a redesigned development project. In response to these requirements, Proludic designed a playground that optimizes the available space by integrating a variety of equipment suitable for all ages. The project is part of a strong commitment to revitalizing the park and providing a meeting place and leisure area for local families and children.
The first play area for children aged 3 and over comprises two large multi-play equipment, offering an immersive and varied experience. The first features two imposing towers, a tubular slide and play panels. The second, from the Kanopé range, features towers rising to over 7 meters, linked by an aerial tunnel and enhanced by climbing games and two large tubular slides, guaranteeing sensations and challenges.
The playground is further enhanced by a range of equipment offering even greater diversity for children. An inclusive trampoline at ground level allows children in wheelchairs to have fun in complete safety. A 3-in-1 swing combines several options: a classic double seat, a toddler-friendly wrap-around seat and a carrycot seat for up to five children, ideal for playing together. To complete the experience, an embankment slide, a rotating equipment and an ACTI’Ninja course stimulate children’s agility and balance. Last but not least, the brightly-colored, custom-patterned soft floor adds a playful, aesthetic touch, while guaranteeing comfort and safety.

A second area features a multi-play equipment with a small slide and play activities at ground level for a safe first approach to play.

The new playground at Parc Suzanne Lenglen has been completely redesigned and is now a fun and meeting place for all children.
