The posts and the horizontal beam (diameter 120 to 140mm), are made from sap free robinia. The robinia is sanded and has had its bark removed. Robinia is naturally rot proof and does... not require any additional chemical protection; it is equally extremely resistant to attacks from external sources (insects, fungi, climatic variations), guaranteeing the long term durability of the playground equipment. PVC sliding rings are fitted to limit the wear of the metal parts over time. The rings are accessed by a vandal proof, stainless steel shackle. The swing chains are... made of galvanised steel. Read more
The double joined swing mechanism is made of stainless steel. A safety chain provides additional support for the pod.
The fixings are made of stainless or plated steel and protected by anti-vandalism polyamide caps.
